25 Things to know about Luke:
1. Luke is smart.
2. Luke gets smarter based on the quality of dog treat in your hand.
3. Luke is agile and can easily jump onto a 4’ counter from a standstill.
4. Luke burps.
5. Luke will follow you everywhere, yes EVERYWHERE.
6. Luke likes his belly scratched and will let you accommodate him for hours.
7. Luke thinks he can go anywhere a human can.
8. Luke knows “sit”, “stay”, “wait”, “down”, and “chill”. If he doesn’t do these on command, he’s messing with you.
9. Luke can “hold it” for a (human) work day.
10. Luke will want your company while he does his business and will look you in the eye while he does it.
11. Luke has been to obedience training…...twice.
12. Luke can jump through a hoola-hoop.
13. Luke will eat just about anything.
14. Luke likes shoes. He doesn’t chew them. He just likes them. Go figure.
15. Luke will give you a guilt trip when you leave. Non-verbal, he can’t talk.
16. Luke sleeps in a crate with a cat (Nala). (see above)
17. Luke likes other dogs, but barks like a freak if he can’t get to them.
18. Luke smiles.
19. Luke likes to run, a lot!
20. Luke eats twice a day. Then burps.
21. Luke will go to the door when he wants out.
22. Luke is neutered. (Don’t tell him)
23. Luke likes baby pools and will lay in them. (see above)
24. Luke likes to know where every human in the house is and will go back and forth to make sure they are there.
25. Luke is an Australian Shepherd.
