My little sweetheart! I had been looking at dogs in all the local animal shelters. Ever since I was little I wanted a dog, but my dad wasn't much of a dog person. I was super excited when my husband gave the okay to start looking and I was on the lookout right away. Even though I really, really, really wanted to take EVERY dog a set eyes on I knew that I would have to choose a dog compatible with me and my life in order to ensure both our happiness. I think deep down I knew right when I seen Molly she was mine. I asked to take her for a walk and she stuck to me like Velcro. After about 5 minutes I told the handler Molly was for me. She told me Molly was a barker and would probably drive me crazy. I guess the handler was just trying to inform me, but I had weird vibes about her from the beginning, so I just shrugged and said "okay, but I want this dog" When I my husband and I brought Molly home we started going through her paperwork and realized she was taken from her previous owners due to abuse. We noticed a few little things. She was afraid if you raised your voice. She tucked in her tail a lot. When we would move to pet her she always braced herself first. To this day she is extremely afraid of brooms. All her other fears I happy to say are ancient history! She is protective, loyal, helpful, intelligent, loving, and a true best friend. I'm sure everyone says this but my Molly is perfect and I couldn't have dreamed of a better pet. Her most favorite game is ball by far!!! Molly also likes to play with Leigh (our just as wonderful kitty) and she loves her little swimming pool when its hot outside. Due to her breed its funny to see her with groups of other dogs because she tries to herd them around the yard and stresses if someone wanders from the group. She doesn't like it when dogs do things she knows we wouldn't allow her to do, and when she catches them doing naughty things she instinctively nips at their heels. My husband made it clear that when we got a dog it would not be sleeping on our bed, but every night he pats the foot and calls Molly up for bed time.
