I just turned 9, so I’m not a young pup anymore, but I’m the love of my Grandma and Mom’s life. I’m a big boy, 92 pounds and really tall for a Golden (so says Dr Lux ;o).
I’ve been coming to see my friends, Dr Lux and Maggie, since I was about 8 weeks old. And I love Marilyn (she gives me cookies that don’t hurt my tummy), and Amy and Shannon (they give the best injections and always a nice pat and a kind word). I now see all of my old and new friends at Arbor View, at least every other week (I’ve got bad hips and a cranky pancreas, but I never complain) and they make sure that I keep feeling tip-top.
When I’m not taking my outing to see my friends at A.V.: I love to stay home, watch TV, play with Hedgie, Mooie, Buf, and Duckie (the best stuffed buddies on the planet), and see how many blue racquet balls I can get in my mouth at one time. Yep, it’s a busy day around here.
I also love to travel with my Grandma and Mom – I especially love the Truckee, Tahoe City, and Squaw Valley areas – the people there seem to love me (kids and adults all love to run or walk up and pet me and tell me how handsome I am :o), and I can walk into shops and all sorts of parks and beaches without any problems. And there are lots of places to stay that think I’m great and deserve a vacation too. I can’t wait to go back!
Well, I’ve got to run… there’s tennis on TV and I just love to watch the ball go back-and-forth.
